Linen Shirts for Men

Linen is a great material to have in your summer wardrobe.  Unless you live in the tropics, spring/summer is usually the only suitable seasons to wear linen.  Wearing linen out in winter seasons is bad for several reasons.  One being that linen is designed to keep you cool, so isn’t desirable if there is any chill in the air.  Linen is very much associate with summer so wearing it in any other season is a fashion faux pas.  Lastly, linen does wrinkle easily.  This informal way of dressing is more acceptable in summer/warm seasons. 

Linen shirts for men usually come in 2 types:  short and long sleeved.  Most short sleeved linen shirts hang looser than their cotton counterpart, so it’s usually best to buy them 1 size smaller.  Men’s long sleeve linen shirts usually come in casual or dressy styles. 

Linen pants for men usually come in belted and drawstring.  Blazers are also a popular item for men.  And linen suits have a long history of the mark of the vacationing gentleman.  Because of linen’s loose fitting nature, linen suits do not necessarily require traditional tailoring.
