Driver in court for killing motorcyclist

A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing the death of an Evesham motorcyclist.

Diana Burgess, 40, of Pershore Road, died in October when her motorbike was involved in a collision with a car on the A46 between the villages of Beckford and Ashton-under-Hill.

Today (Tuesday) Steven Moore, 42 of Goodeve Park in Bristol, who was driving the car, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court and will appear before Worcester Crown Court on Monday, March 25. He was released on court bail until then.

Mr Moore was arrested following the crash and was charged on Tuesday, February 5 with causing death by dangerous driving.
