BRETFORTON LADIES 2NDS earned a deserved first league victory of the season on Saturday.
The hosts were able to welcome a few 'experienced' players back into the team, whilst newcomers Francis and Jem were welcome additions to the squad.
Wright worked hard to get the ball in Campden's net but unfortunately had a goal disallowed, but the hard work finally paid off as Wright managed to hit the back off the net after skilful passing on the right from Davies and Payne.
Campden came back fighting and equalised but Bret made a good start to the second half and regained the lead when Alice Cook made a superb run from the halfway line and managed to slot the ball past the visiting keeper.
Hamilton, player of the match Danni Cook and Hyde worked hard in midfield for Bret, whilst the defence of Nat Benwell, Beddis, Z Lavery and Mandy provided good protection for confident keeper L Lavery.
Payne capped her debut by grabbing the final goal for Bret, whose plonker of the match was Benwell.
The match ball sponsor was Posh Nosh.
