A PERSHORE firm is in line for a prestigious prize after being shortlisted for a St John Ambulance First Aid award.
Chalcroft Construction, based on Goodwood Road, has prided itself on first aid training and their safety record and as a result have been shortlisted for the annual awards ceremony for a second year running.
Staff at the firm will find out if they have been successful during the glittering awards ceremony at the Lancaster London Hotel on Monday, November 19 which will be hosted by survival expert Ray Mears.
First launched last year, the St John Ambulance First Aid Awards celebrates the achievements of individuals, businesses and communities which lead the way in terms of first aid practises.
Awards at the celebratory event will be presented by celebrities including Dragons' Den star and businessman Duncan Bannatyne, singer Michelle Heaton and TV presenter Matthew Wright.
Todd Hallam, Environmental Health and Safety director for Chalcroft said: "Chalcroft are extremely delighted to be shortlisted for the St John Ambulance First Aid Awards.
"It is testament to the commitment the company places on first aid through all levels of the business from directors, office and site staff and the recognition of ensuring the health and well-being of all its employees and contractors.
"Chalcroft believe by promoting the understanding of first aid through their own significant training regime it also raises the profile and awareness throughout the general community."
