SIX-YEAR-old Amber Jacobs is enjoying her new found fame after becoming the talk of the nation with her DJ skills.
The talented Throckmorton star was cheered on by more than a hundred people on Sunday (October 28) as she attempted to become the world's youngest DJ.
Amber hosted an online radio show live at The Swan Inn pub in Evesham as station TBFM Online held a special charity day in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice.
To go for the world record, Amber had to broadcast to an audience of at least 20 people and had do play and introduce songs for more than a hour.
Evidence of her attempt has been sent to the Guinness Book of Records team where Amber's family hope her achievement will be officially verified later in the year.
Since our front page splash on Amber three weeks ago, the Pinvin First School pupil has been on something of a rollercoaster appearing in national newspapers including The Sun, Daily Mail and The Mirror.
And yesterday (Thursday) Amber took to the national airwaves with an appearance on the Greg James Show on Radio 1 where she interviewed pop band The Wanted. On Wednesday she appeared on Kerrang Radio.
Amber's mum Judi told the Observer everyone in her family felt confident she had broke the record.
"Sunday was a great day and it was brilliant to see so many there on the day supporting Amber," she said. "She was really chuffed to see so many people supporting her.
"I think she was taken in a little at the start by the support she had but once she got into her stride she then showed them how talented she is and how much she loves playing the songs.
"She has fulfilled the criteria asked by them and we've handed in all the evidence together so hopefully its just a matter of waiting for the good news. We're very hopeful she's done it.
"The last few weeks have been brilliant and to be asked to go on Radio 1 and interview The Wanted has been amazing. Presenter Greg James said on his show on Monday Amber is his favourite person in the world at the moment!"
