THE RIBBON was cut and champagne corks were popped as staff at an independent estate agent in Evesham celebrated its expansion.
Avon Estates opened its new office in Vine Street on Saturday (September 22) after moving round the corner from its original building in Vine Mews.
The company has grown quickly since it was founded in March last year and so needed the extra window and office space the bigger premises offers.
Sue Sollis, who runs the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust, has close links with Avon Estates and was on hand to cut the ribbon.
The business donates a percentage of its sales to the trust and recently handed over a cheque for a thousand pounds.
Lee Revell, a partner at the company alongside Peter Vale, said the charity was particularly close to his heart.
"My sister died of cancer and so I always look to give something back to cancer charities and the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust does a fantastic job in the town and surrounding area," he said.
"We'd outgrown our previous office and so the move came at the right time for us."
