MUSICAL and dance fanatics in the Vale are in for a magical and romantic treat when the Vienna Festival Ballet perform their latest production in October.

The group's enchanting and joyous production of 'Coppelia' will be staged at Evesham Arts Centre on Saturday, October 6 starting at 7pm.

The show's witty ballet is an ever-popular celebration of love, with a sparkling score and breathtaking choreography and is guaranteed to lift the hearts of all the family.

When Dr Coppélius leaves Coppélia on his workshop balcony she’s soon causing quite a stir in the village. Particularly in the heart of redblooded young lover Franz, and the jealous mind of his real-life fiancée, Swanilda – who’s mistaken the mannequin for a crying, talking, sleeping, walking rival.

With a wild mix of abracadabra, and some mischievous maidens, comic chaos is riotously unleashed when humans and automatons collide in Dr Coppélius’s spooky toyshop. This is great opportunity to see a popular ballet performed live on a full-size stage.

Tickets cost £19 for adults, £13 child and £17 for students, pensioners & groups or 8 or more and are available from Evesham Almonry by calling 01386 446944 and visiting www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk.
