Anchor Harriers continue to go goal crazy

BIRDSEYE Sports Evesham Sunday League Division Four outfit Anchor Harriers hit double figures for the second week running as they powered to a 12-0 victory at Stratford United thanks to goals from Smith (3), Crenan (2), Cumberland, Townsend, Quantrell, Nevin, Saunders, Huggins and Taylor.

New boys Campden/Ebrington United got off the mark with a 5-3 home win over Stour Excelsior Reserves as Jason Beasley scored four times, whilst Mullins' double maintained Dragons' perfect start as they defeated visitors Alcester Town 2-1.

Goals from P Smaylin and S Smaylin earned Elmley Castle the points with a 2-0 success at Vale Wanderers.

Bengeworth enjoyed a convincing 8-1 win at Ambi Allsports as Lane bagged a hat-trick and Mather (2), Flander, Herbert and Mason also netted.

Hosts Sun Inn and Pebworth opened their accounts with a 2-2 draw as Mower and Woodward scored for Sun and Malone and Lambourne netted for Pebworth.

In Division Three, Jake Pettitt and Scott Jordan both scored four times in Tewkesbury Town's 9-3 home win over Badsey Recreation, for whom Bishop hit a treble.

Mear and Barton were on target for Ecosamba as the Bishops Cleeve team earned their first points at the expense of visitors Broadway United Reserves with a 2-1 success.

Pershore High Old Boys began their campaign with a 4-0 win at Fairfield through Worthington (2), Taylor and Hinchcliffe and Offenham Rovers hit five without reply at Ambassador as Burrows (3), Fisher and Jordan were on the mark.

In Division Two, WMK won again as this time Naser (2), Harcek and Witts scored in a 4-2 victory against Alderton, for whom Baker and Greaves netted.

Davies and Irwin were on target as Lenches Lions took the points in a 2-1 triumph at Tewkesbury/Apperley Dynamos, whilst a second half Smith goal proved enough for Bear to overcome visitors AC Olympia 1-0.

Goals from Ireland, Godson and Dunsby helped Stour Excelsior to a 3-1 home victory over Fladbury Athletic, for whom Brain scored.

Veteran Lee Diamond continues to roll back the years for Bredon and he scored twice against visitors Tesco United, whilst Rumbold added a further goal in a 3-1 victory and Charman was on the mark for Tesco.

Cheltenham Saints edged out visitors Cider Mill 4-3 with goals from Pat Gibbs (2), Allcott and Jack Gibbs.

Honeybourne Gate Inn maintained their good start in Division One by winning 2-0 at Pinvin United with goals from Brookes and Conor Sherry.

Youngster Luke McDonagh grabbed his first senior hat-trick for Broadway United and further goals from Hopkins and Magee completed a comfortable 5-1 home win over Evesham WMC, for whom Spencer scored.

In a high-scoring game at Eckington the home team defeated Mickleton Rangers 6-3 thanks to goals from McDonald (3), Clifton, Bostock and Carter, with Tye (2) and Gabb the scorers for Rangers.

Bretforton Old Boys defeated visitors Defford/Besford United 4-1 with goals from Will Gayton (2), Stride and Brain.
