THREE top comics from the comedy club circuit will be providing the laughs at Evesham Arts Centre when their new autumn season kicks off next month.

Australian Daniel Townes will headline who will be supported by the upbeat Danny Ward and the quirky Stuart Black for the live show taking place on Friday, September 7 starting at 8pm.

Townes comes to Evesham for a second time after becoming a big name at the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals in his native Australia but he regularly tours England's comedy clubs and festivals.

His skilful turn of phrase and good eye for the ridiculous and a fluid, easy delivery on stage has earned him many plaudits from all over the world and has made numerous appearances on Australian television.

With his observational humour, Danny Ward started in comedy back in 2008 and has since established as an up and coming comic supporting the likes of big name acts Shappi Khorsandi and Mike Wilmot.

Stuart Black has been performing stand-up comedy since 2004 and has appeared alongside some of the best comedians on the UK circuit . As well as stand-up, he has written shows that have been well received across the world including Adelaide, Melbourne and Edinburgh.

And the night's MC will be comedian and radio presenter Sally-Anne Hayward who is well known for her winning brand of autobiographical humour.

Aside from her growing reputation on the comedy club circuit, Sally-Anne has been a warm-up act for TV shows including Deal or No Deal, has appeared in Absolutely Fabulous and regularly comperes on one of the stages at Glastonbury Festival.

Tickets cost from £8 but will be priced at £10 at the door on the night and are available by calling 01386 446944 or visit www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk. Audience members must be aged 16.
