STAFF at a Vale pub will be raising funds in true Rock 'n' Roll style when a special concert takes place over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The Fairfield pub on Battleton Road in Evesham will be hosting a big weekend of live music next Saturday and Sunday (August 25 and 26) to raise much needed funds for Help for Heroes and the Midlands Air Ambulance. The event starts at 4pm each day until late
Artists and bands taking part in the event, sponsored by Bespoke Furniture, include The Voice star Vince Freeman, Ryan Corbett from I Am Ryan, The Irony, First Offence, The Booty and many more. All performers involved have given their time for free to play on the weekend.
As well as the talented artists and bands taking to the stage, there will aslo be an all-day barbecue, bouncy castle, playground and a pets corner for children.
Amy Watkins, general manager of The Fairfield pub, told the Observer: "It will be a great weekend for all the family.
"The event has been organised by myself and Bespoke Furniture owner Paul Newitt, who is doing a ten-mile run in September for Help For Heroes, so we thought we would work together to raise as much money as possible.
"We are also holding a huge raffle over the two days with many local businesses donating prizes such as a weekend spa, beauty and hair vouchers, hampers, photography sessions and loads more with a total value of over £1,000."
