Hi: 15° Lo:4° 7 day

THIEVES have stolen more than £2,000 worth of jewellery after breaking into a Broadway home.
The crooks broke into a house on Church Street through the front door on Monday (July 9) between 10.45am and 12pm.
Items stolen include an antique pearl necklace, a gold necklace with a diamond pendant and silver sapphire drop earrings.
In what is thought to be an unconnected incident, a house in Belvoir Bank, Malvern was also broken into on Tuesday (July 10) between 8am and 4pm.
Detective Sergeant David Knight from Worcester CID urged any witnesses to the incident to come forward as soon as possible.
"We do not believe that these incidents are linked due to the distance between the two locations," he said.
"However, both of the burglaries, happened during daylight hours in residential areas, so there is a chance that local people may have witnessed something which could help us with these investigations.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have seen any suspicious vehicles or people in the areas related to these incidents to call us as soon as possible."
Anyone with any information should call Det Sgt Knight on 0300 333 3000 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
