THE DAUGHTERS of a murder victim have paid tribute to their mum on what would have been her birthday.
Jackie Harrison, who would have been 49 yesterday (Monday), was found dead at her flat in Worcester on Thursday, April 12.
William Cummins, of no fixed abode, was charged with her murder and is due to face trial later this year.
Mrs Harrison leaves behind her father and brother, who live in her former home town of Pershore, and two adult sons and two daughters - Zoe, 26, who lives in Evesham and Danielle, 23, who now lives in Walsall.
Her struggles with alcohol dependency and a chaotic lifestyle meant she had not seen her family for a number of years.
But in a statement released by her daughters they said they would be thinking of her on her birthday and ahead of her funeral on Thursday (July 12) at Worcester Crematorium.
"Believe us when we say you've never been forgotten and will always be loved," they said.
"Throughout our lives we've craved your love and support, but now you're safe with the angels above.
"Although you had your demons, you aren't to feel guilty and never to feel worthless. There are many people past and present who care for you and now wish you peace.
"Happy birthday Mum. Sweet dreams. All our love, your daughters."
There will be family flowers only at her funeral with donations to the Maggs Day Centre, which supports the homeless.
