Hi: 17° Lo:10° 7 day

A TEENAGER was punched in the face and knocked to the ground by two men in what police believe was an unprovoked attack.
The incident happened in Evesham High Street on Saturday night (June 16) about 7.45pm when a 17-year-old was waiting for his friend outside Chancers bar.
Just after his friend joined him, the teenager was then approached by two men who attacked him and left him on the floor with cuts and bruises. The men are described as white, in their 30s and both were bald.
Police are urging any witnesses to the incident to come forward and said there were many people on the High Street at the time of the attack.
PC Andy Farmer, who is investigating the incident, said: "This appears to be a truly unprovoked attack on a young man minding his own business. There was no interaction between either party and not a word was said by the offenders.
"The assault occurred at a busy time of the evening in Evesham High Street and we know there was a large number of people in the street at the time and some of them must have seen the attack take place - one woman is even thought to have confronted the two men.
"I would very much like to speak to those who saw the assault or anyone who recognises the description of the two men and I urge them to contact me."
Anyone with any information should contact PC Farmer on the non-emergency police number 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
