THREE people were arrested on suspicion of possessing with the intention to supply class A drugs following an operation aimed at tackling rural crime in the Vale.
A large amount of white powder was found in a caravan in Cleeve Prior on Thursday (April 19) after warrants were issued at four plots at a caravan site in the village.
A man in his 50s, another man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s were arrested in connection with the incident and were released on bail pending further inquiries.
Inspector Sean Kent, in charge of policing in Wychavon, said much work was being done to tackle organised crime in and around Evesham.
"This is part of an ongoing operation targeting organised criminality in the countryside surrounding Evesham," he said.
"We remain relentless in our bid to bring to justice those who are responsible for organised crime and who cause the most harm to our rural communities.
"We are determined that our rural areas will remain safe and pleasant places to live and I would urge anyone who has any information in relation to criminality in and around Cleeve Prior to contact us."
Anyone with information should contact police on the new non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
