A TRIBUTE group playing the anthems of rock icons Philip Lynott and his band Thin Lizzy will blast out the night away in Cheltenham next month.
Limehouse Lizzy will explode into action and continue the spirit of the famous Irish rockers at Cheltenham's Bacon Theatre on Friday, May 11 starting at 8pm.
The band's current European tour explores and celebrates the musical legacy of Thin Lizzy from hard-rocking classics to surprisingly tender and Celtic influenced tracks including The Boys Are Back In Town, Black Rose, Sarah, Whisky In The Jar plus many more.
Attention to detail, charismatic audience interaction and that all important X-factor feeling have led to Limehouse Lizzy's huge success around the globe with their performances being described as 'beyond tribute' by both audiences and critics alike.
Jess Waterman, theatre administrator at the Bacon Theatre, said: "Limehouse Lizzy are renowned for their explosive tribute performances and many of our regular live music audience members have been asking for them to appear at the Bacon for some time."
Tickets for this pyrotechnic-fuelled gig cost £15 or £14 for concessions and are available by visiting www.bacontheatre.co.uk or by calling the Bacon Theatre Box Office on 01242 258002.
