A GROUP of classic car enthusiasts had a blooming good time as they enjoyed the Vale's Spring Blossom Trail.

28 members of the Bristol Savages travelled up from the city in an array of vintage vehicles and winded their way around the 40 mile route of natural beauty at its best.

Along the way they stopped at Wayside Farm Shop in Wickhamford and sampled some suitably themed produce including blossom jam.

The Blossom Trail is an AA signposted route which runs until mid May when the road sides are ablaze with colour.

Visitors can enjoy the soft pink tones of cherry and apple blossom along with the white of the pear and plum.

Various Vale businesses, pubs and picnic spots form part of the route.
