Sixways success for U13s

By Liam Moakes 29/02 Updated: 06/03 11:06

EVESHAM U13s sealed a fine 21-19 victory at Worcester on Sunday thanks to superb tries from Josh Hartland, Lewis Cochrane and Conor Armento, all converted by James Thompson.

This was a truly awesome team effort, with no player found wanting on the visit to Sixways.

The first half was fast and physical with the Worcester backs denied momentum by Evesham's courageous tackling.

Leading by example, Thompson, Armento and the Finlays - Breach and Keyte - brought their opponents to the ground.

As in the first half so it was in the second, as fine defence from the pack kept the home team out.

Ripping by Keiran Raymer and fine scrummaging by Lewis Garrood, Marcus Harris and Will Farrell broke down each attacking move as it neared their line and in the end this was a fine result from a fantastic team effort.
