The incident happened on Sunday (March 25) in Mill Street at the junction with Mill Bank at about 9.20pm when the man was cut by a sharp instrument.

A man in his 30s was arrested later in the day but was later released on bail while the police investigation continues.
Detective Constable Debbie Whitehead from Wychavon CID said: "This was an isolated incident and the victim was badly wounded. The injury is likely to leave him with a permanent scar.
"I would urge anyone who was in the Mill Street area at the time of the incident and saw what happened to get in touch."
