BEAR FC moved into second place in Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League Division Three by inflicting only a second league defeat of the season on AC Olympia.
The prolific Liam Scrivens scored both goals for the Bear in their 2-1 home win, with Barnes netting for Olympia.
Leaders Tesco United were held 2-2 at home by Wickhamford Sports as Brotherton and Meredith scored for Tesco and Griffiths and Gibbons were on target for Wickhamford.
Lenches Lions were held 3-3 at home by Black Bear Reserves whilst Gary Dyke scored twice and further goals from Malin and Beasley earned Gardeners Arms the points in a 4-1 success at Badsey Recreation.
