AN EXPENSIVE triathlon bike worth £1,600 was stolen following a burglary at a Vale home.
A thief or thieves smashed their way in through a conservatory window at a house in Harvington Lane, Norton, between 7am on Tuesday, March 13 and 2.50pm on Wednesday, March 14.
The bike taken was a Specialized S-Works triathlon bike and was the only item to be stolen.
Officers in Evesham investigating the burglary are keen to trace the bike's whereabouts and are urging witnesses to come forward with information.
Detective constable Jez Hazlewood said: "Obviously the owner would like it back and I would urge anyone who saw anything in relation to the bike being taken or knows where the bike is now to get in touch as soon as possible."
