Man exposes himself in front of woman

By Nigel Slater 27/01 Updated: 27/01 12:53

A MAN indecently exposed himself in front of a woman in Evesham as she was walking home from work.

The man pulled down his trousers in an alleyway known locally as 'Conker Alley' off Cheltenham Road just after 9pm on Wednesday, January 11.

He then followed the woman for a short while before speaking to her and exposing himself for a second time. He later walked away towards Cheltenham Road after seeing someone approach the alleyway.

The man is described as white, aged between 45 and 50-years-old and is believed to be mostly bald with short and dark hair at the back.

At the time he was wearing a black woollen hat, a short brown zip-up jacket with a checked woollen jumper underneath, black trousers and black shoes.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and said the man returned again the following morning.

PC Jon Symonds from Evesham police station said: "We believe this man returned the next day (Thursday, January 12) at around 9am and waited for the woman a second time on the corner of Fairfield Road, but did not expose himself on that occasion,"

"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed either of the incidents, knows who this man might be or has fallen victim to a similar offence to contact us as soon as possible."

Anyone with information should contact PC Symonds on 0300 333 3000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
