MEN IN the Vale will be able to check their health levels at a special fitness session to be held in Evesham.
Evesham Library, based at Oat Street, is hosting the session which sees men able to take a fitness MOT test on Thursday January 26 between 10am and 2pm.
The activities, delivered in partnership with local NHS health trainers, include on the spot BMI, blood glucose, blood pressure, and carbon monoxide tests, as well as help and advice for accessing the increasing amount of health advice on the internet.
Professional health trainers will be on hand to offer advice and library staff will show visitors how technology can be used to improve their health.
Janine Downes, Eveham Library manager, said: "This is a great chance to get healthy in the new year. The NHS Health Trainers and Evesham Library have brought together a host of health professionals to offer free advice in one place for this special event."
More information is available by calling the library on 01905 822722 or by visiting www.worcestershire.gov.uk/libraries.
